:: Oversized center medallion adorned at either end by large scale finials atop a covered ground of palmettes, scrolled leaves, buds, and blossoms. Heavy change in dye lot and abrash throughout. Main border in a paisley boteh and floral cross-section design motif. Colors and shades include: Beige, cream, dusty sky blue, faded cobalt blue, madder root red, terracotta, pale coffee brown, powder blue, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One area of professional restoration localized to one end. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Meshed carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 8'9" x 12'4".
